Looking for 6 years: ".......happiness, is my kind of people, my kind of (music?)..."

For well over 6 years now I've been trying to track a very sweet (maybe even too sweet) and gentle song. It's sung by a woman in a kind of Karen Carpenter style. I only remember these words:

".......happiness, is my kind of people, my kind of (music?)..."

furthermore I seem to recall the words "log on the fire", "roses fade" and "friendship".

Suggestions are extremely welcome!
