Solved: pop song w/ "tying the laces of my shoes" or nike shoes or white shoes?

Maybe 5 years ago, I used this song in a soccer video I made, and I can no longer remember the song title or the artist! How annoying it is growing old! This song is a fun but was probably not a top-40 type song. Probably hit its peak in the early 2000s I'm guessing. I know it's almost nothing to go on, but if anyone can help, this old guy would be grateful!

One of my favorite songs is "Tangled Up In Blue" by Bob Dylan (covered by Indigo Girls).
She stared at the lines of my face.
I must admit I felt a little uneasy
When she bent down to tie the laces of my shoes,
Tangled up in blue.
