Solved: Need help identifying soft rock type song

Was in Home Depot yesterday, and on their muzak system, station Hot FM, is a song I had only heard once or twice before. Male singer, possibly a band, decade unknown. I can see this song coming from the 80's and I can see it as something from the last decade. Kind of sounds like the singer from the Outfield and I only know part of the chorus, which is fairly high pitched.

"I can't believe it's true,
There are some things that I won't do"

At least I think thats how it goes.
Not much to go on I know but any help is appreciated.

No, it's definately not that song as those lyrics aren't even in it...


With the words we've been given, I could guess it's Brian Adams' 'Everything I Do' but fat chance of it being that.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately it's not either of those. I know I mentioned Outfield in the initial description and I still think its a fair comparison if the song is old enough but the more I search, the more it almost sounds like something a band like Coldplay, Snow Patrol, etc. would have done. Problem is, I'm just not sure that the song is/was popular enough.
