old techno song. PLEASE BEEN SEARCHING FOR 6 MONTHS

well i dont remember much but i remember it was a girl who sung it.

the only parts i remember were

"its been so long since" i dont remember after that,but then she says "wherever you are/go,ah ah ah e ah ah ah ah e ah." and then there this cool little synth rhytm.

ive been searching for this song FOR MONTHS now.

so far the songs ive found arent the one i wanted.

coco lee - not this one at all. doesnt even have the synth rhytm.

i pretty sure its not the one by 2worlds,cuz the girls voice is not the same as the one in the song i remember.

so far those are all the songs ive found with some of the words i know,but they arent it.

unfortunately...im pretty sure it wasnt this group who sang the song i was looking for. The person singing in the song was a lady,and the beat was very techno-ish.

these guys sing anti-folk,and dont have the same rhytm as the song.

1. well im not really sure how old it is...but i could say its from like the 90's

2. she sings basically for half the song.

3. well they are techno...but the girls voice in the 2worlds song is too rough,her voice was more like delicate and soft.

The song that you told me was too pop-ish,and the girl doesnt not have the same voice,and its not even close to the beat of the song that im looking for.

Techno music is sort of like a general term for music that uses electronic sounds heavily.

a good example of this would be DJ Tiesto or Kraftwerk.

Kraftwerk were electro, not techno... Technoi is a term to describe music that's like hardcore dance but originated more from Germany... England's Prodigy were a techno act until they did 'The Fat Of The Land' album then they were more industrial dance.

The only part I remember....

Is the lady says something,and then she says.

Wherever you go/are(I put this because im not sure if its wherever you are,or wherever you go) (try to vocalize this part) ah ah ah EE ah ah ah ah EE ah (then this part loops for a bit while the melody is playing in the background,its the synth.)

and then theres this little synth rhytm.

it goes one note up and makes like sort of a step pattern.

I remember the I searched for a while back and I found it (mind you this was about 3 years ago)

It was like agent (some number),then after that I narrowed it down and I found it. But I don't know who it is exactly.

Ok Phaseon trust me, I'd been looking for a while too. It is "wrong" by everything but the girl. I know, I know, you don't think so. There are a dozen remixes to the song the one that immediately comes to mind for me is the Todd Terry remix of it (Walking Wounded album). If I'm wrong I'll never post here again. But I'm telling you, go give it a listen because the lines you have are the back half of the chorus. Let me know through the forums either way. But listen to the full first 1:30 of the song. Trust me. Everything But the Girl - Wrong (Todd Terry remix).
