Default Solved: A cover of 99 red balloons

    Hey guys!

So I have got a seriously annoying problem here. I have been searching for a particular cover of 99 red balloons for months now.

I originally ran across the cover a long time ago on YouTube, but apparently the video was pulled and no one knows anything.

The video on YouTube had some kind of anime in the background, called, "Fooley Cooley". I am pretty sure that this show created the cover, but I can't find anything anywhere about it.

Please help! I want....no, I need this song!!

    Thanks guys.

    Default Hi there

    Unfortunately, that is not it.

The version I am looking for sounds like it is being sung by a Japanese girl. It is bizarre I know but it is amazing!

Keep up the good work! Thanks anyways

    According to Wiki...

The song has been covered by numerous bands, including 7 Seconds, Five Iron Frenzy, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Goldfinger, Siobhan DuVall, NOFX, Angry Salad, The Fabulous Rudies, Gothic Sluts, Inc., The Jetpack Escapee Scene, Coffee Shop Rumours, Radio Cult, The Peter Pan Complex and Chase Elaine. It was also covered by the Wizard Rock group Draco and the Malfoys.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

So I checked on the iTunes store (of the artists that showed up) and none of them are it. Although, a few sounded pretty close to how the singer sounds, the music is a lot different on the version I am thinking of.

Thanks so much for all the input so far! I am not giving up!

I found the same song at IMEEM, and there it says it is on DDR. http://bleedingcells.imeem.com/music..._techno_remix/

DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) is a game, where lot of covers end up, and this cover was made by M-CREW Project.

    I don't have this game, so i can't confirm 100%.

I hope, it is the right answer, because I never have heard it myself, but I hope, you'll find it somewhere to listen and it is your song.
    Have good day!

If it's a well known one, it's either goldfinger or Less than Jake

    hi
the original was by nena ( i think)

Yes, that is correct. Nena did two versions - one in English and one in German.

This DDR version was the one I have been searching for! Apparently, it isn't recognized as an official cover for some reason, and nobody lists it as such.

Basically, it has been like trying to google a ghost file!

But, now I've got the song and the knowledge! Thanks to everybody, particularly, lollipop! You found the artist for me! Thanks.

I honestly don't care too much for the Goldfinger version :/

neun und neunzig luftballons is the name of the German original version, it's not synched well to the english one as it's in the original Deutche.
