Unhappy still no luck

those suggested are all great songs but none hit the mark.

the intro sounds like a dull "kazoo type sound" hard to explain.
and repeats several times ....do do dodo dooooo....best i can describe it.
i have been looking all over.

thanks to all who have tried to help.

i will continue to search, hard to get this one out of my head.

Also try "Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?" by Chicago.
The intro is a solo on muted brass instruments (trumpet, sax, trombone; which can be mistaken for a kazoo?)

neither of those are the song,

daa daa daadaa daaaaa da - daa daa daadaa daaaaa da - daa daa daadaa daaaaa da

something like that that reapeats in the begining with that sound, cant say what instrument (maybe synthetic,) i have heard it on a chevy car commercial some time ago. back when they were playing older songs i.e. version of "like a rock" (probaly not name of song)

thank you all very much for the help,
