    Question Solved: whats this classic rock song

    I am trying to figure out the title to a song i heard on the radio it was a classic rock station I am not sure what time frame this song is but its a little hard rock male singer the only thing I can remember is part of the

    chorus: I know I cant bring back yesterdaybut I know were gonna be together again someday down on brickyard road.

    not sure if brickyard is correct but sounds very close all the rest of the lyrics are dead on. can anyone please help its driving me crazy? thanks

    A little bit of trivia for you....This is about Van Zant's older brother Ronnie, who was killed in a plane crash in 1977. Ronnie was the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd; Johnny took over after his death.

    When Jonnie did his first gig with Skynyrd, Ronnie's wife forbid him to sing Freebird so when the band performed the track, he put his brother's hat on the mic stand and stood on the side of the stage out of respect.
