Solved: Rammstein song-I'm pretty sure anyway....

Hi. I've been looking all over for a song by Rammstein and I have no idea what it is, and very little information to go off of in my search for it.

I remember hearing it sometime between 1999 and 2003 (I believe).

They seemed to play it a lot on one of the music stations they have on the Dish Network. I may have also heard it on some regular American radio stations, so I doubt it's some obscure b-side.

Like I said, I have very little information to provide, which is what has made the search so difficult, but here's what I can tell you:

It was a slower and sort of melancholy sounding song.

The track featured some female vocalist singing wordlessly. She sang during the chorus at least and maybe during other parts, and if I remember correctly, the song may have ended with her singing.

The lyrics are in German, so I have no idea what they are.

I say in the subject line that I'm pretty sure it's Rammstein because it sounded just like Rammstein and I believe I remember seeing Rammstein in the track information displayed on the screen.

However, it's also possible that this was a remix of a song and not an original.

So if anyone knows what song I'm talking about, I'd love to hear from ya.

And if not, if anyone knows what slower Rammstein songs (or slower remixes of faster songs) feature a female vocalist, that could help. I tried googling around but everything I found was a miss.

I'd provide more info of course, but that's all I have. I hope it's enough.

That may be completely off but when you said female vocalist this song was the first thing that came to mind.

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately, that's not it.

The song I'm looking for was a lot slower than that...It was melodic and mournful sounding. Didn't sound at all like what I think of when I think of a typical Rammstein song.

But like I said, it may have been a remix of another song. So it's possible that Engel is the right song, but that the one I'm thinking of is a different version. But I really have no idea.
