Hello,
I'm going crazy trying to think of the woman or old school R&B group who sang this song, I think back in the early 80's. I think it's called Can't Let Go. It's not Mariah Carey either. Here's the lyrics:

Chorus:

{I can't think of the rest of it, but at the end she talks to him}
