What is that song

I'm looking for the title and who sings the song heard in an episode of "The Equalizer" where Edward Woodward is seen singing with the the radio. The video is on youtube. Just ask for "Edward Woodward".

The last lyrics heard are " Never been lost before ........... and at the end Take a good look at yourself before you look down on me".

I thought this was the title but it's not. Thank you so much for your help

I'm told it could be Bonnie Tyler. Anyone know the title of the song. Could also be Bonnie Raitt.

I've put the lyrics into Google in all permutations to no avail.

I did the same and it's like this song doesn't exist. Thank you for trying.

I'm reliably informed that the song is being performed by Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick [an actress playing a rock singer in that episode] who was later in the band Eve's Plum and became Vitamin C!
It seems the song was probably made for the TV show; it may have been released later but I can't tell you the title or if it even had one.

She would have been quite young at the time. I think this episode aired in 1988.

I haven't seen the episode but yes that would make her around 16 or 17 at the time. Is that possible?

I've just been listening to one of her songs and it doesn't sound like her. The girl on the video has a hoarse voice, more like Bonnie Tyler or Bonnie Raitt.

The song reminds me of "Before You Accuse Me (Take a Look at Yourself)" by many different artists including Eric Clapton.

Yes it's that kind of voice but like FAB Scott I feel it was only performed on this show and never released. It's almost impossible not to find traces of such a song if it were released somewhere.

And she really says "Take a good look at yourself" and not "Take a look at yourself". A real mystery. Thanks for helping.
