SOLVED: It's about a city on a mountian and a knight...

Hi, I'm trying to get my mom a collection of her favorite songs/cd's for Christmas. And there's this one, that's one of her all time faves, but I can't think of the name or artist for the life of me. I mean I've heard it hundreds of times!! Ugh. And I can't ask her, or it'll ruin the surprise. So any help will be so very greatly appriciatied!

Ok, the song was more of a folky/storytelling type. It was about a City (or town) on a Mountain and a Knight that arrives, I think to "save the day" or something similar, and possibly something about the city's King. I seriously can't belive I can't remember any of the darned lyrics! I should have it etched into my brain by all rights for the number of times I've sung along to it.

Well, I know it's pretty sparse info to go on (yeah, like nothing at all) but if someone can help, I'll love you forever.
