Help! Song at Starbucks...

hello everyone: so i heard this song on the xm radio today at starbucks. male singer (or at least that what it sounded like). sort of a pop/alternative genre. I got pieces of lyrics:

"now i don't know what I want to do..."
"you lied to me"
"...see what you put me through..."
"in your eyes"
"all I ever wanted was..."

I know this is crazy. I couldn't hear very well with the people chatting about. Thanks for your help!
