need help id this song

Wow I have been looking for this song for about 10 years. In fact, 1998 was the year it came out cause I member it was on the radio in the summer of 1998 alot. Unfortunately I barely member any of the actualy lyrics but I cannot get the song out of my mind. It was kinda a soft pop/rock song with catchy lyrics and a guy singing it. I would probably compare it to a swirl 360/ del amitri sound. In fact, I almost thought that's who it was at first but i think it's someone else. Anyways, here are some of those lyrics I can remember.

See unfortunately I can only member a very little bit of the song, but it's been stuck in my head for years, and I can member it like it was yesterday in those happy go lucky summer days of 1998 being one of those radio hit bubble gum pop-rock songs like a swirl 360 or del amitri. I would really love it i someone could enlighten me it would make my day for sure!!
