help ID song?

heard this pop song at my local grocer's the other day and it's been stuck in my head ever since. i don't have much to work with, but was hoping someone would be able to help me identify the song. the song has a quicker tempo and has a male singer. the lyrics say something like "i keep calling you at 3 a.m. ... keep getting the machine ... now worried that you'll tell me it's over." eh, something like that, but those lyrics (or something like them) are repeated quite a few times in the song.

any suggestions?
