    I heard a song on the radio the other day, that was slow, very melodic, with a female lead singer that I remember being somewhat popular in the late 90's/early 00's. Unfortunately I don't know the words as she sings very low and is hard to understand. Song has acoustic guitars in it. Any help would be very much appreciated!

    I came across this thread because I MIght be looking for the same song.

    I can never remember any of the lyrics because she kind of mumbles, the best I could do was hum what I have stuck in my head:

    Is that the same song?

    Sung by a female from the 90s, soft acoustic sound, kinda sad. She had a smokey voice, very slow song. It may have been an all female band...right around the time 4 non blondes would have been popular. One line goes Something like: "you turn around, I look right through you." but i'm not sure.

    Finally figured it out.......Mazzy Star - Fade Into You......only took almost 6 months to figure it out......
