Hi There~
I'm trying to locate a song that's either from the 60's or 70's. It's by either a male artist or band. It's a disco-type song. It has the lines: "open up your mind girl" (could be "open up your EYES, girl") in the chorus. Any suggestions?

Marlon Jackson (of the Jackson 5) has a song called "Life" with the lyrics, "Open up your eyes girl". But he wasn't a solo artist until the 1980's.
Also, the group Nolan Woodward & Nall has a song called "Miss Oblivious" with the lyrics, "open up your mind girl" and "open up your eyes girl". But its genre is soft rock, not disco.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
My wild guess:
Open up your eyes then you realize.... EVERLASTING LOVE.
That´s the song titel ist´from the 60ies ot 70ies but I don´t remember the artist. It was, however, covered several times.
Tahira
Nice find, Tahira! I had forgotten about the song, "Everlasting Love". The original was recorded by Robert Knight in 1967 and covered by The Love Affair in 1968. The best selling cover was by Carl Carlton in 1974 (definitely the "disco" era).
