    Default Solved: Help identifying a foreign song

    This may be an unusual request and its a long-shot but I thought I would try here… I’m trying to find the name of a song that I believe is sang in Spanish but I'm not 100% certain or at least find some help in translating what the song lyrics are or have someone help me by typing the words in proper grammar. I heard this song when I was younger, between 1980 and 1990. I will as best as I can type out what the song sounds like phonetically and I would like your help on how it should really be typed so I can somehow find this song. The song has great sentimental value to me and I have tried for years to find it. The song sounds like this:

    Sha-rone dis aven, sha-rone dis aven, shaaaa-roooone, shaaaa-rooooone, tu tin po day mon, tu tin po day mon, sha-rone....sha-rone.

    The song also has the word "Tremundo" which is why I think its Spanish.

    Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone know what this means or how to type those words out in Spanish correctly? The singer sounds a lot like Julio Iglesias but it is not. Please help. Thanks.

    I should also mention that the man was singing solo. It was sort of a ballad, it wasn't a high-beat song. The song starts with music that sounds like a higher pitched stringed instrument.

    I found the song! Thanks for everyone who tried. The song is:

    Shalom by José Luis Rodriguez "El Puma".

    Shalom, jezabel, shalom ,jezabel
    shalom, shalom, tu tiempo de amor,
    mi tiempo de amor, llegó shalom;

    Anyone knows what this means?

    This song is about a man who find the love in Jerusalem. If I understand it, the girl's name is Shalom. When he sing "jezabel" it's mean that the girl is a wicht because he is crazy of love for her. Is you hear all the song, you can konw this: It was a ware and he was a soldier. He knows when he kissed her for first time that she was the one for him. It was ware, he was a soldier and he forget his past, every thing for her. They were living a passionate and great love and it came the day that he couldn't decided (choice) between his love for her and/or the obligation like soldier with his country. But like a soldier he must say bye to her and he cried in this melody the pain they felt when the moment came.
    Sorry if my English is so bad. I hope I hade aswered you what you wanted to know. Bye!
