Default Solved: I'm starting to think I made it up...

I have a song stuck in my head, and I think I must have the lyrics completely wrong because I have Googled every combination of words I think are in the lyrics, and I can't find it anywhere.

What I think I know is that the song is mostly vocal with relatively few instruments. The song is sung by a soprano female.

The chorus goes something like this (but I am starting to doubt that any of the words are right):

I feel so bad (uh huh)
I feel so sad (uh huh)
I feel so mad (uh huh)
    Breathe in breathe out

I have gone through iTunes, andI know that the following people do NOT sing the song stuck in my head:

    Rachel Stevens
    Madonna
    Mat Kearney
    Ali
    Kanye West
    Machine Head
    Alicia Keys

Did I make up this song? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I did not find a good match for your lyrics.
Try "Whenever You Breathe Out, I Breathe In (Positive Negative)" by Modest Mouse
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Nice try. I hadn't found that one yet, but sadly, not the song I have had stuck in my head for at least a week now.

The song in my head has fewer instruments, or at least, they are more subtle, and the female vocalist sounds more like Dido (but not Dido). I'm thinking the singer/band might be European.

I don't know where or when I heard this song, but I was going through an old mp3 collection, and I found "Breathe In" by Frou Frou and I thought it was the song in my head, and then I listened to it and discovered it was not. Then I started wondering where the song in my head came from.

Usually bewteen Google, iTunes, and Wikipedia, I can figure out anything. This is driving me nuts!

Well, for my next wild guesses...
The following female artists have a song titled "Breathe In"

    Wendi Daniels
    Lucie Silvas
    Cheri Magill

The following group with a female vocalist has a song titled "Breathe In"

    Perpetual Dream Theory

I thought you might have found it with Perpetual Dream Theory. The lead vocalist sounded good in the songs I could find of theirs, and it took me forever to find Breathe In, but when I did, it was an instrumental.

But, I found the song Breathe In on Last.fm, which lists about 20 other artists with a song called Breathe or Breathe In, so when I am not late for work, I will go through them all.

    Thanks for the leads!

I was just going through my CDs the other day and came across that one, and it didn't even occur to me that it might contain the answer to my mystery. Thank you so much, seamusvea!
