Sorry but I wish I had more info...I was at Outback Steakhouse the other night and this song came on Sirius and I hadn't heard it in forever. I think it's an 80's song that was somewhat popular and the chorus ends in "tonight." They must have mentioned this word at the end of various verses 20 times. That was really the only word that I could pick up because my girlfriend kept talking even when I was asked her to let me try to hear the song.
I know this isn't much info but I thought that I would throw it out there and see.
It was more of a classic pop eighties kind of song like something you'd hear from A-Ha or General Public or Howard Jones. It was a male singing and the verses kept ending in "tonight." I'm not sure if it was a love song but It could have been.
Hi, I was reading this requesst this morning; after that I was driving in my car and in the radio they were playing
HEY LITTLE GIRL by ICEHOUSE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1pDwgMVfso
... I just had the feeling to send you this wild guess .
It was a little more upbeat and not as mainstream as Smashing Pumkins. I'm pretty sure that this group has only had one or two songs that were hits because I'm pretty good at recognizing voices. The genre was definitely 80's type and sounded similar to that of General Public or Howard Jones. I doubt the title has "tonight" in it but I do remember that many of the verses ended with "tonight." I know this is very little info to go on but I appreciate all of the help.
Thanks for the help but that still not it. I really doubt that it has the word "tonight" in the title but it is mentioned at the end of the main chorus. It's probably a one-hit-wonder. Thanks!
