Default Solved: Country song, need title and artist

I heard this on a country station a couple of months ago, but as I don't ususally listen to country, I don't know if it is new or old.

The refrain lines go: I know what I was feeling, but . . .WHAT was I Thinking?

The first name of the artist might be Tim. But I am not sure on that. So far, I have been unsuccessful in finding out who the artist is or what the title of the song is. Also, what the rest of the lyrics are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, that was fast. Thank you so much Musicismyfirstlove. And the you tube video you provided was an OMG moment!!! My first love drove that exact vehicle that is in that video. That was priceless! (His song for me is the Rolling Stones "I Can't Get No Satisfaction") We had our one and only 1/2 a date in that vehicle and he kept it til it was falling apart. I did not figure out until years later that apparently he truly did love me as well. I did not date him again because he had lied to me to get me out on the date, claiming that he had not been out on a date earlier in the evening and then admitting when he took me home that he had been out with that girl. The girl's family was so upset that they threatened to have me killed. In a small town it was a big deal and I did not appreciate being called a bad girl when I was really a good girl. Apparently it did not matter to them that he had lied to get me to do this. Well, what goes around comes around. I left town. He married her and cheated on her ever after. Serves her family right. They thought he was such a catch for her. Guess not. ! He has done a lot of things to try to track me down and talk to me. But you know, when I say "I do" in a marriage ceremony, I mean it! Next month, I'll be married 25 years. My husband's song for me is Arrowsmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing." This song did not come out until we had known each other for 20 years. Apparently we did not have an "our" song because it had not been created yet. It was worth the wait to know he thinks that much of me after that long of a time. Thanks again!! I was interested in that song for an entirely different reason, but OMG, what a connection!
