Looking for an Alternative song

Alright I heard this song about 4 years ago and have yet to find it. The singer has a quite voice and seems like he could be british. As far as lyrics go I can't for the life of me remember any except him saying "bent down hard and begged". Now hes the most important peice of information: throughout the song they play an excerpt from a speech and I think its Martian luther king jr but I can't remember. Please somebody help me.
