Solved: please help me identify this song!

Hey y'all I've been tryin' to find this one song/artist for months now without succes. It's i believe a r&b song that came out in the late 80's early 90's sung by a female or a group of female artist. I'd say the chorus is composed of this sentence .....stay with me tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. And then part of the chorus also has........i don't know, i don't knowwwwowwwww.
That's about all the wording i know of the song itself.

Thanks a lot man u just came up with the answer of an unterminated work. u have no idea how relieved and happy i am. been lookin 4 this song for decades now n none of my friends or member of my family could remember who sung it.
