DJ, show me the beat? (can't find the lyrics or song.)

I heard it on the radio around 2000-2001? It sounds something like this (please excuse my shoddy "musical talents"):

As you can maybe tell, it was a dance/house song. The lyrics were sung by a young sounding female singer, and they were something like this:

DJ, won't you show me the beat?
Deejaaay, take a look at me
DJ, I connect to your beat
Deejaaay, (something here that rhymed with the last line, forgot what it was...)

(2 more lines here, forgot what they were... Then the refrain was a some "laada-ing")
