Solved - Song title and Artist? Not much to go on

My daughter named one of her stuffed animals Jennifer and my wife and I remember a song that we think started with that name.

Jennifer, Jennifer - then another line or two and back to

Of course we could we could be way of. Then we thought maybe the song had some French lyrics.

Most likely a 70's song, any ideas? I can hum the song but the words are eluding us atm.
