Solved: i found the girl BIG CHALLENGE!

i lived and went to college in DC and graduated in 1993, and they would play old school slow jams on the radio every night. songs from shi-lites, harold melvin and the blue notes, howard hewitt's "now i say amen", that song " girl you know i-i-i love you", you are my starship" and so many others every night!!! here in atlanta, i don't really hear those songs like that , strangely.

well....... the song i used to hear every night and just cant get out of my mind goes like this... here are bits and pieces that i remember. i don;t even know who sings it but it is a male voice.... so if you know who it is that sings it, and the name of it, PLEASE tell me and/or give me the lyrics
