Sorry for the new thread, but considering the time I spent searching for this song title, this is a big deal to me.
So please! If any of you recognise it, tell me what it is.
This is the kind of song evvveryone has heard before. Somewhere within the refrain, there's the line: "like the wiseman/wise man said", and then it goes on with "I have gone to the rivers of the...". The only other couple of things I recall are:
- there's soft whistling on the refrain instead of words, at some point;
- it sounds like an 80's song;
- the only resemblance I can make voicewise is with Stevie Wonder, although I don't think it's him;
- the last part contains a first line that goes like "I've got things to do" and so forth.
