Song from movie "Strange Wilderness"

Hi there, watched Strange Wilderness the other day. And I just couldn't get this song out of my head.

For those who has seen the movie:
The song plays as they first reach the jungle, classic rock something. It also plays in the credits.

I have looked at the music credits of the film, but I can't seem to figure out which song it is. Because some of the songs on the credits are impossible to find info about.

Oh my god.. I've been searching for this song as well. Tracked all the listed songs on the movies credits and none fit this song. Love the song and would love to know what the hell it is1

After some searching the only thing I could find is this ; it MIGHT be a group called Magic Fern , the song COULD be called "Maggie" and there is no information whatsoever except this:

University of Washington band with circa 1966-67 tracks. Pop rock with some psych shadings. Like most Picadilly albums, this was released posthumously without the band's knowledge.

I bet that the music supervisor on the movie just made a song for the movie, and hasn't released it.

I can't understand this. I'm also looking for it. The song is played twice in the film and it's obviously a good song since we're all searching for it, but still no hits on google whatsoever. I also tried to use the TrackID function on my Sony Ericsson phone but no match. Has anyone tried to get in touch with anyone from the crew behind the music/mixing of the film?

I believe it is
The Bossmen - On the Road
It is on the soundtrack.
The guy that sings and plays guitar is Wagner the guy that played guitar for Alice Cooper. It has a very similar early alice cooper sound as well.
This song is from 1967 and its really hard to find, its a single so its probably a rare vinyl.
Adam Sandler is notorious for having good classic rock in his soundtracks. Go figure...

if anyone knows where to find this song please tell me because i found the song out from another forum but not how to get it

Just listened to The Bossmen - On the Road. Not the lyrics as posted.

ive been searching for this song for about a year. no luck. the bossmen, on the road is a different song it its played while there in thier RV going through a highway toll on strange wilderness, and the magic fern song is also in another part of the movie. our best guess is that it hasent been released yet. if anyone finds info on it please email me. mac_grass@yahoo.com i would even be willin to buy the rights to the lyrics for my band. its that good

Took a lot of searching, but it's Waddy Wachtel. The song is only a minute or so long and was composed for the movie.
