Two instrumental songs from radio show (with clips)

Hi! I'm new.

There are a couple songs from episode 303 of This American Life that I would really love to know what they are. What makes it difficult is they are both instrumentals, and they are not listed in the program guide on TAL's website.

I have both the clips for you to listen to, hopefully someone will know?!

#1: sedaris_1.mp3 - Song comes to the front at :34

#2: sedaris_2.mp3 - Song comes to the front at :10 and :21

I'm more interested in #2, but if anyone can help me out at all with anything here, I'll be quite the happy person.
