Red face Solved: Older Song about a marajuana eating rabbit

My parents used to listen to a song about this rabbit that was eating this guy's "garden".
    This is what I remember:
Now there's a rabbit running around, he's a hopping up and down, he's freaked out, but he grins and wags his tail. He's got two bloodshot eyes and he doesn't realize, to get him high I could have gone to jail.

And something about... Now enters the rabbit who seems to have a habit of eating leaves or anything that's green, he leans back on his hind feet and then he starts to eat, 'till two feet off that stock had been stripped clean.

I'd like to know who sung it, and the lyrics please.

The song was written by one of the Goode Brothers. The only recording I know of is from the 70's by The Orton Yahoos from Canada.
The opening verse is as follows:
Out in an open field, a strange crop I did yield. I had some plants like you have never seen.
I had two dozen in all, they stood five feet tall and their color was organic green. Now enters the rabbit....
The chorus is, Now there's a rabbit running......
The last verse is, As the weeks slipped away, I yearned for the day when I'd be reported for my plants. But when I reached , where I planted all that pot, that dern darn rabbit struck again!
