Solved: Whats the name of this ra song from the late 80s or early 90s

I am trying to remember a love/rap song from the late 80s or early 90s.

I think the album had a picture of the world on it. I want to say there was a black fist on it to but I may be getting it confused with a somewhat similiar album from that time.

The guy was singing about how he liked this girl and she picked another guy and was willing to wait out their relationship because he thought he was the best for her. Really, she was the best for him.

Some lyrics. They may not be exact;
