mainstream dance form last year

HI all,

been bugging me for ages this one but haven't got a lot to go on.

All i can remember is "baby, baby, baby" in a 4-4 like baby-baby-bay-bee.

Singer has an American accent and the beat is quite dancey, mainstream style.

I remember first hearing it in 2007 but did hear it on pop radio station only a month or so ago so can't be that old.

If you guys come out with some suggestions it may help jog my memory for more clues coz that ain't a lot!!
