Solved: Please help..song driving me crazy

I remember hearing this song back in high school or maybe a little before then, I'm thinking early to mid-90's. I don't have much to identify it by, but here goes:

It has the word "summertime" and I want to say it also has "women" in it. Here's the biggest identifying factor I can think of: It has a catchy chime rhythm that sounds kind of dreamy throughout the song.

Here are some artists I've already come across and know it's none of these:

Will Smith / dj jazzy jeff - summertime
Shaggy - summertime
Bob Marley - summertime (I know this wasn't early to mid-90's)

Someone out there has to know what I'm talking about! I beg you for help.

EDIT: Well, I was WAY off! It wasn't hiphop at all, the beat kind of sounded hip hop though. The song was Doin' Time by Sublime.
