Solved: Identify this song (or at least the language)

This is a song from some time in the mid-70s (and I've been trying to find it since then) but I have no idea what the title is or who the singer is or even what language it's in. Here is a short clip of the last minute and a half of the song:

If you understand any of the lyrics, please post any fragments that you can make out so at least I'll have a starting point for more searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After a bit more searching I've found that the singer, Linda de Suza, was originally born in Portugal and later moved to France and she sings in both Portuguese and in French. This song that I've been searching for was released in both languages in the 70s and then re-recorded as a slower, acoustic version in 1992, which is the link that you found.
