need help with a rock song pls

Hi, just wondering if anyone would be able to help me.

i was listening to a music channel the other day i cant remember the name of the band or title only the video it was on, (the hits channel)

its an american rock band, on the video it shows a guy walking down a street with a little girl drawing the sun in the road with a white chalk pen when he reaches her he looks to the sky and a eclipse starts, also i think he says in a verse ''slow down little one''

any help would be great sorry thats all i can remember from the music video
