"The Middle" song... can't figure out artist or actual title! help??

Alright fellows.. some time ago I made a CD.. two songs I love on it are the song Mmmn from the artist grandadbob and the song I am asking for help with identifying, for the life of me I cannot find it with any search engine or music dealer- probably primarily due to the fact that I can't recall if "the middle" is actually the title and I have no idea who the artist is

lyrics that run through my head, which I believe to be accurate, are.. in no particular order..

"hey there sugar, stuck in the middle, you can't see through me, can't see the middle"

and the refrain? repeated with variations in sugar/honey..
---> "hey there honey, stuck in the middle.."

i think i recall this bit..
--->"stuck on the outside"


and somewhere in the song, i think at the end of chorus maybe..
-->"what the f*** is going on"

And I have no idea about the song, all I know is it's not 'The Middle' by Jimmy Eat World
