It's named Jack and Joe (Give My Love to Nellie) sung by Mrs. Ben Daugherty in 1961, there's also a link to listen to a recording of John Quincy Wolf, Jr.

These are the lyrics and the song. I still haven't found a recording of it to buy and send to my dad but now I'm on the right track. It's not from the 60s, he remembers his mother singing it to him back in 1935 or so. I hope to find a recording of it someday. Thank you very much! valjeang
