    I'm looking for the name of the band and the lyrics.
    'This is the way we are, this is the way we live'. They are a band from New York with quite an unusual name, something like *) mixed with random letters. Thats all I know. Hope someone can help me!

    Stellastarr* seems to fit your description.

    Hya, I don't think it was Stellastarr*, I'm sure the random letters didn't make up a proper word, but then again, I really do have a terrible memory.

    I don't think it's Stellastarr* either, after looking up their lyrics.

    The only song that slightly matches in lyrics is "Pulp":

    We plan to lie our lives away

    As for bands with random letters, you should check out "LMNT," "MGMT," and "MSTRKRFT."
