Looking for title and artist of 90s alt. rock song
Can anybody help me identify the artist and title of a song? I'm 99% sure it's a 90s rock song. It sounds a lot like Alice in Chains, though I'm pretty sure it's not them. The lyrics aren't all that discernible, but the song has a unique, high-pitched guitar solo at the beginning, and I'm pretty sure that some of its main lyrics go "and I said maybe [with a lot of emphasis on the "y" in "maybe"]" and "never meant to do you wrong." I know these are vague clues, but it's killing me not knowing the name of this song. Many thanks.
