heard on ktsb austin in '91... a real stumper

Been looking for 17 years for this band/song! Always wanted to buy/explore this band but never found out who it was, even called the station at the time i but wasn’t able to pin it down. I’ll be pretty darn impressed if someone knows it.

Recorded in the Fall of 1991 off of KTSB 91.7 cable fm UT Austin Texas. It is a female vocalist---college/alternative indy sound. Other stuff on the tape to give you a feel: Throwing Muses, Let’s Active, Pixies, Velvet Crush, Mekons, Joy Division, Kelly Willis, The Wannabes, Psychic TV, Lida Husik, The Golden Palominos, Heidi Barry, Barbara Manning… to name a few

It is possible it was a local Austin band and may be lost to history, still, if it’s out there would love to support this band and put this mystery to rest once and for all. The lyrics are as follows:
