looking for a hard rock song

I heard it on this hard rock radio station in small town canada station about a month ago...... they have a very limited website so i cant look it up on it and ive been searching for it since.... i only know a few of the lyrics.... its kind of a "seetherish" song.... lots of grtty guitar, just a really great tune!!!

In the main chorus it goes..... i dont want my life to waste away........ thats all i can really remember...... i searched and seached for everything waste away and such but i cant find anything, all dead ends, so this is it. I thought maybe Hurt did it, and ive gotten nearly everything by them, but cant find it..... its kind of like 10 ton brick.

So i beg of you lyrics community, any help would be greatly appreciated, man to man.

close but no cigar...... looks like it on the lyrics though.... but this band is more mainstream i think, not as alternative to, just a solid rock band, and the lead singer has a mature deep voice

The radio station i heard it on, is no longer in operation, they closed down last month, wish i would have heard it on sirius, lol.... been listening to octane at work religously and havent heard it.

Good news is i know exactly what song youre talking about. Bad news is i've been sitting here all night trying to remember the same song so i could download it. if its the same song its about ten years old.....it goes something like.....whos gonna catch you when you fall to a heavy guitar, whos gonna blah blah blah.....i dont wanna work blah blah....something about jive mother something.....if you remember anymore more of it maybe we can eventually piece it together. for some reason i thought i remembered it on the howard stern sound track....but that was rob zombie.....its really bugging me.

could be it, have you ever heard the song suffocate by Cold? the lead singer sounds almost identical to him.

Ive been downloading a bunch of new bands.... so i guess ill have to do some researching for in the 90s, i checked out the mainstream rock tracks for the past decade and for the 90s, i allready have all of them..... but ill keep digging.

no, its not staind, i had that one when it was first released, good try though.its been awhile is kind of the same song though, except this one is more upbeat tempo
