This goes way back

I think this song was from the late 70's or early 80's. The lyrics I remember go like this: I'll take another wedding in stride, I'll take another June wedding. I'm sitting on the brides side again.... It was sung bya male who now that I think back sounded kind of like Randy Newman.

Can anyone help? If so, you are the King or Queen.
