Music played in the final scene of a Western Movie

This may be a long shot.

I'm trying to identify an old western flick that featured a captivating piece of music right at the end of the movie (as the screen fades to black). I only saw the last 20 seconds or so. If my memory is correct. The final shot features a youngish american blonde woman, looking sad and walking or running alone though a meadow or a prarie type of environment. As she is doing this a great sounding string piece comes in.

I think from the sound of the music recording it must have been an older western movie. Possibly 60s / 70s

Anyone got any idea of what it could be?
