What artist/song? Been following me for years

Remember I heard this song on the radio during the 90's and later perhaps on MTV or something.

I recall the vocals sound a bit like babylon zoo - you know spaceman etc? The song overall is quite slow and sounds sort of creepy.

Somewhere before and in the the chorus he sings like:

...and then to stay/say (or maybe something totally else)
-becomes silent or close to in 1 sec-
(chorus starts) in the dead/death den of night/light...
in the dead/etc of the night/etc ... lalala-lalala (lol dunno exactly was many years ago)
when he sings -in the ? of the ? - the notes are in this order (but not neccesarily an "C", the C could be an A or B or D, F..)

G - A - A# - A - G - G

in the dead of the night, hum hum hum hum hum hum
G - A - A# - A - G - G - , G - G - F - C - D (C possibly again)

lol.. well maybe not make much sense but try sing it with one note per vowel (in whatever pitch u want but it's not very high but distored.. if I remember)

during this song you see a guy running/walking in the night, it's dark and I think he is in the sight of a riffle/weapon-sight..

it's something in style between rock and synth or similiar, I really really appreciate if somebody could help me with this one

sorry it's not that one. I've scanned tons of lyrics with dead and night in it and lots of archives of musicvideos but I haven't found it. It's possibly a 1 hit wonder. Maybe I've got it wrong with the words, the lead clue is the person at night inside ones sight of a gun.

Compared to the Depeche Mode song the vocals is more sleazy/rude. In the part I remember during the chorus the effect used sounds like the Rasmus' - No Fear when he sings "destination darkness" before they raise the key around 2:35. Though.. the pitch is lower, atleast 3-5 notes.

hmm well I can't say I remember exactly myself, so if I say too much I might lead in the wrong direction but it's more like the Skinny Puppys' Cult then to the video you got there.

I don't remember the verses or anything more then the nightclip with the weaponsight from the video so there's not much to go through from.. when I think about it.. the video could have been greenish but I could be wrong.

I should say again it was played here on the radio in sweden so I don't know.. somewhere this song must had some hype?

Funny you should mention Skinny Puppy ,I was looking at them just before I decided to give Young Gods a try.. , but couldn't find matching lyrics and /or video..

I think I may have to give up on this one ,and hope that the video'll come back to me (if I ever saw it )

bump... guys I really need to know this song

It's a bit like Ladytron with Destroy Everything You Touch but slower and more agonized sort of.. and it's a male singing with a more distorted vocals.. please help. It's an older song remember but there's a music video with a gunsight in it and played on Nordic/Swedish radio somewhere between 1995-2001
