I think it's called Edward,Charlie and me,but that's only cos it says that alot in the song.

lyrics I know goes kind of like this.

"so if you've got nothing to do
and you'd like to come along too
just send us a note to the strawberry boat
and you can be one of the crew
We're sailing our way tothe stars
we're flying to venus and mars
where the rivers are made out of sweet lemonade
and the mountains are chocolate bars"

It's been bugging my sister and me for ages,My dad reckons it's on an album by Colin Scott, but it's not by him.

Anyway, any help anyone can give will be appreciated

    peace

Default Edward and Charley and Me

    Edward and Charley and Me.

This is the correct title of this song

This is a song composed by Colin Scot and is taken from the album "Just another Clown"

I have the single 45 RPM on warner bros records K 16279 published in 1973.

I saw Colin at the Hazelslade folk club, near Cannock, years and years ago.

The "b" side is called "Lament" also taken from the album as mentioned.

    Need anymore help?, contact me.

    Regards John Williams

Has 'just another clown' ever been released on anything other than vinyl? I'd love a digital or CD version of 'Edward and Charley and Me' in particular, It's one of my Dad's favourites and was unfortunately also mine when i was 8 or 9 so I played it a lot and ended up scratching his record. I'd love to be able to replace it in some way for him.
