Default In to the * of a cold dark night

I am pretty sure this is a "classic rock" song. I don't know if the words are right but i think it something along the lines of:

"In to the light on a cold, cold night." or "in to the _____ on a cold, dark night"

I know this is vague, but does any one have any ideas?

    Thanks!

Pretty sure it is a man or a band with a male singing the vocals.

I think it is from the 60's or 70's.

It is pretty mellow and a little up tempo but the last two words are held longer than the rest.

    Does that help any?

Probably completely wrong, but your description reminded me of this song by Silent Force.
This is called In from the Dark

    Anything like this?

    hmmm, not exactly "mellow" though.
