Solved: "Sunrise" song from 1980?

Hi everyone - I'm brand new here. I'm asking your help because I tried without success to find anything about this song using the search feature.

Back in the summer of 1980 WCBS radio in New York City would play this song at the moment of sunrise each weekday. I'm writing the bits that I remember. The song's main play-on-words is "rising" and "realizing". Does anyone remember the title and artist? Thanks much!
