Solved: stuck for a song

HI all,

Stuck here,trying to find the group and song title to these lyrics. I have it on tape but the DJ(I think is Fluff) doesn't say who it is. Can anyone help??

Hope fully that will jog someones memory,it sounds like the sort of band from Usa like Reo Speedwagon or Journey that type of AOR stuff,but can't seem to find it anywhere on the net!! I didn't write it in my sleep did I?? Maybe.

Wow!! Can't believe no one knows this song. I'm beginning to believe I wrote it myself. But then again,if I can't find it anywhere,how am I expecting you lot to find it??

Yes, sadly that happens sometimes ,one of the " unfindables "..

There is another option though , seeing you have the song on tape?

If you can upload it and put the link here , people will be able to hear it and maybe recognise the band.

Good idea,but I have a USB turntable but sadly not a tape player. Unless I try it just using the mike on the laptop........watch this space....gotta find the tape first.
