Default SOLVED - can anybody tell me whose song this is (greek music)

    Hi everybody!

a friend of mine gave me a Chalga homemade cd compilation awhile back - no titles, just a cd. However, among lots of Azis, Ilian, Amet, Gloria and other Bulgarian songs, I found one that I really didn't know. I guess it's a greek song - I can hear words like 'S'agapo' now and then...

I just made an MP3 and uploaded it here:

    greek song.mp3 - 3.50MB

I would really love to know the title and the name of the artist, can anybody help me?

    thanks!

Hello there! This is a greek song and it's called "Osi glyka exoun ta xeili sou". The first singer was Stelios Kazantzidis but in your version is another singer that singing. I think that your part maybe is a demo.
You can hear the original song in the link:

    I hope I helped you!!

    thanks labroutsaki,

you were definitely helpful! I'll try and type the title a bit around the net, just to see if there's some more info available. Could you please write the title using the Greek alphabet too? so that I can copy & paste it when searching for lyrics and such....

    thanks again!

No problem!!Everyone here in Greece knows this song. The title in greek is "Όση γλύκα έχουνε τα χείλη σου". It's an old song, i think it came out around '60s. Stelios Kazantzidis was a very famous singer here in Greece. I can type the lyrics for you either in greek or in english if you don't find anything in the net, ok?

    excellent!
Basically I think the version I posted should be a 'live' one by Manolhs Aggelopoulos, taken from a cd compilation called 'Giortino Glenti 2006 - To Xthes Me To Shmera Vol1' - so now I really got all details! As for the lyrics - just searched the board, and here's what I found:
