I've looked everywhere, but to no avail...

There is this song that I love, but I have no idea what it's called or who it's by. The song goes, "Run away that's all he's ever done. Since he was a young boy he's been living on the run." Those are the first few lines of the song. The chorus goes, "Slipping into darkness (slipping), Johnny's got a gun. He's got nowhere to run. Slipping into to darkness (slipping), nowhere left to hide, from what he's feeling deep inside." The end goes, "Run, run, run away that's all he's ever done. One day he's gonna end up on the wrong side of a gun, whoa." Can anyone help me. I feel like I've made this song up...
