Is it The Who: I Can See For Miles?
"I know you've decieved me, now here's a surprise.
I know that you have 'cause there's magic in my eyes
I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles.
Oh yeah... "
I know the song, have it on a CD, but I don't know all the lyrics. In any case, does that sound right? It's 70s pre-punk, so it's pretty hard but with the 70s instruments.

there's miles in between
there's miles between me and you and
your blue eyes
blue your baby blue eyes

blue your baby blue eyes

Eyes of blue just like the sea
Eyes of blue just like the ocean

Next wild guess is "Vagabond of The Western World" by Thin Lizzy
Blue eyes, oh baby blue, oh blue eyes
The kind of eyes that say "I do" eyes
Oh baby blue, oh blue eyes
Oh baby blue, oh blue eyes
He roamed around the cities
Searching for his fortune and fame
Also try "Blue Eyes" by Within Temptation
Blue eyes just smile to the world
Full of dreams and with fascination
Too soon she saw that her hands were chained and pulled without any freedom
It's always the same, they fear no way out
I cannot break it
I can take it no more

Ok, going down the green eyed rabbit hole...
Try "Pale Green Eyes" by Thomas Dybdahl
Pale green eyes, silver and light
in a world gone bad your soul will shine
baby I'm all messed up, I swear
I really do want you here, my dear
pale green eyes, they're in this time
not afraid to try
not afraid to fail
a thousand miles, lie in your trail
in passing time you will prevail
baby I'm all messed up, I swear
I really do want you here, my dear
pale green eyes, will I ever find
a way to cross that great divine
pale green eyes, left me behind
in a world gone sad you will be fine
Also try "Green Eyes" by I Am The Avalanche
